Welcome! The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania (CECCAR) holds every two years The Congress of the Romanian Accountancy Profession, large scale event, with nationwide participants and guests of professional international bodies. The tradition of organizing this gathering was asserted as a reference point in the worldwide agenda of the accounting profession; authorities of the profession from all over the world welcome with interest the participation in the debates that CECCAR suggested to be discussed in the Congress. This year, the Congress will be held between 3-4 September in Bucharest, at the Palace of the Parliament. The theme of this edition is "For a new culture in the accountancy profession", proposing to the audience the most exciting topics regarding the profession outlook in the world and in Romania, in the present economic background. CECCAR expects this year also, a large participation, being that the number of guests is 1,500 people, that will present and discuss a new culture in the accounting profession, but will also try along with the guest speakers to outline the future of the profession.
